Can no't play any avi files I can not play any avi files but every other file. what is the problem? But i can play avi files in other players. |
You need codecs and spliters to be installed. Search for the post "list of codecs" and install. |
For other players it depends on which players you have tried, some of them have codecs bundled in the player. To use BSplayer just install the right codec (you can use GSPot to know which ine you need, as BSPeter already wrote you in the other post). Usually installinf FFDShow should suffice ;) PLEASE, READ BSPeter's "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING" sticky post |
no it's not that i use codec pack al in one the new version, but i was messing with systeme32 files. :x But than I reinstalled bsplayer and it still don't works. |
BSPlayer doesn't put any file in system32 folder. Codecs do that. Maybe re-registering quartz.dll can help. http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=15157#15157 |
i don't get any error i just open an avi file and the subtitles are enabled and bsplayer says playing but the time doesn't go anywhere. But the other file tapes work good. I reinstalled bsplayer i installed codec pack all in one and other codecs. |
Reinstalling quartz.dll didn't helped. |
When you open such a file, please tell us wich filters are used to play (is it possible to have a filter that conflitts with BSPlayer, such as Nero audiio decoder) ? Open a file, rightclick->options->filters->advanced. |
And use GSPot to know if you have the right codecs installed (and if it's able to render those videos) |
