Broken Video Renderer
I had some Macintosh MOVs I needed to decode and installed two sofware products for this purpose: latest Quick Time Alternative and Haali Media Splitter (for MP4). Later it became apparent the both packs are useless and I uninstalled them both using their uninstallers.
Now the big problem. My video renderer has lost the capability to display RGB32 video. Now BSPlayer inserts a Color Space Converter after ffdshow decoder AND because of that the aspect ratio of the video currently playing cannot be carried to the renderer.
What can be done about it? I tried the magical solution to DllRegisterServer QUARTZ but it did not help. It's an embarassing codec pack trouble.
