What's the best MP4, MOV filters for BSplayer? So, what's the complete and error-free mp4 and mov solution in order to play well with Bsplayer? K-Lite's inside? Or seperated one by one? Which one? Thanks.

Gabest MP4 splitter. MP4 files are often in H264 format and best decoder is CoreAVC (not free though). Audio is often AAC and good decoder for that is CoreAAC. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MP4_Splitter.htm http://www.coreavc.com/ http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...how_filter.htm So install those 3 decoders/splitters and you will be able to play MP4 and MOV files just fine with BSPlayer. Note: You can also use FFDShow to decode H264 video and AAC audio. |

Digiface, Thanks for your great help. Installed exactly the ones you recommended. But i have some questions: Some files or some formats (I also saw for .mp4) if you forward movie to a far position, then when you click to a previous location of timelines, sometimes video loses syncro then re-catches syncro. My computer is strong enough to render mp4 even cpu usage is low during decoding. What could be the reasons of syncro-lose problem when "SEEKING" on timeline? Normal? Thanks.

the link you've given. But, Seeking problems related to Bsplayer or splitter? Which one? The problem is: Sometimes i seek to a previous position on the timeline, the video freezes, but the sound and timeline counter goes on as it should be, but the video catches them later. Why? Thanks. :)

Hi, To update, I have CoreAVC/AAC works fine for .mov files but doesn't work for .mp4 files giving warning as unknown format. These .mp4 videos were downloaded from Nokia E65 phone. Is there a free .mp4 (and real-MP4 of course) filter that works fine with Bsplayer? Thanks

The video(.mp4) seems clear and smooth on the phone of course. And so far, only Nero Video Decoder is decoding .mp4 but if i allow Nero to decode MP4, it also harms other formats such as MPEGs. So, it's a paradox.

Usually it's MPEG4. Mobile phones use 3GP, a simplified version of MPEG-4 Part 12 (a.k.a MPEG-4/JPEG2000 ISO Base Media file format), with the .3gp and .3g2 extensions. These files also store non-MPEG-4 data (H.263, AMR, TX3G). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mp4 http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/tsg_sa/TSG_S.../SP-040643.pdf Nokia E65 specifications : Multimedia Video and audio streaming (3GPP & Real Media) Music player (MP3/AAC) and media player Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) digital rights management (DRM) 1.0 with forward lock http://europe.nokia.com/A4344228 LE: can you send a link to such a file for testing purposes ? |
