Fullscreen Modus - Image resized to 2x2

Suddenly without changing any setting, as soon as I press fullscreen modus, the movie is in the middle of the screen with a size of app. 2x2. Also the subs are only in a width of this size, so u can imagine how it looks like. One or two letters in one row - one word separated in many raws. I cannot find any setting to correct this .....anyone any idea?
