Default Troubles whit VIDEO_TS

Maybe one of you know the answer. I use BS Player Pro the latest version for playing directly movies on my flatscreen. I connected my computer whit HDMI on my tv.

I changed in the options in video rendering, rendering mode: internal rendering overlay (default) so that when i play a movie on the monitor of the pc that it wil automatically it also is playing on my tv. (monitor 2) In vista 32 bit is it working fine but when i use vista x64 than sometimes i see a white screen when i want to play a VIDEO_TS map and it won't play anything. but when i select a .mkv file it works fine. Only VIDEO_TS is giving problems. (when i play a dvd i select the first .IFO file i see in the VIDEO_TS folder)

Someone knows what i'm doing wrong?

From the informations you provided, I believe that on your 64b machine you lack the codecs for MPEG2 or the DVD source splitter. CHeck out which you didn't installed.

Maybe you haven't installed the same codec set on your 2 systems, or the ones installed on the Vista 64bit is buggy (while playing the video -> right-click -> Options -> Filters -> Advanced and then compare the 2 system's results).
I doubt it's related to graphic's drivers since BSplayer is able to render MKV files.

Have you tried to play that file on the first monitor? Is it still white or you can play it without problems?

I hae only 1 computer I tried 32 and 64 bit. Now at the moment it's working fine. I did a clean install of 64 bit. i made a screenshot so you can see what codecs are installt. So if i'm correct it doesn't matter if you run 32 or 64 bit vista? Or do you guys say that i better can use 32 bit?

VIDEO_TS is doing great now but when i play mkv sometimes the picture is a little bit shocking. I hope you know what i mean. (seems like for a very short moment the picture is freezing, but the sound is good.) I use as codec CoreAVC for x264 files.

Normally, there shouldn't be any difference if you use 32 or 64 bits operating systems. But if you have a 64 bit architecture, a 64 bit operating system should be faster then 32 bit OS.
As for the stuttering, probably it's related to HDD/DVD drivers.

Thanks for your reaction. How can i fix this? I don't use the dvd in my pc, and it is only when i play a x264 file. VIDEO_TS is now playing good.

If possible, I would like to know a little bit about your hardware: CPU, Memory, video card ?
