is there a way to let DirectVobSub handle the subtitles in an mkv file instead of bsplayer?
I ask this because bsplayer's subtitle playback seems yet to be perfected and sometimes displays subtitles...

just thought I'd let people know that I found a fix. while playing in full screen, right-click and select "custom aspect ratio" then set it all the way left or "norm". now it plays full screen....

you can access XViD settings by right-clicking on...

you can access XViD settings by right-clicking on the video while playing an xvid file and going to properties. what settings are available there depend on your version of the codec
