Div3 is an older codec which DivX (7/6/5/4)...

Div3 is an older codec which DivX (7/6/5/4) cannot decode. (It could be done by DivX 3.11 alpha).
When you installed BS.Player, did you allow it to "internally" install its preferred codecs/filters?...
