If you can't download from the official site, this might be caused by your firewall. Otherwise - like adicoto already mentioned - you should be able to download without any problem after having properly followed the instructions on the site.
However, please have a look at this post. It directs you to several sites from which you can download BSPlayer. Most recent version is 1.00 RC1 build 803 (version 1 was a totally rewritten version). Last pre-1.0-version of BSPlayer was version 0.86 build 501).
