For the /s switch perhaps read this.
You put it correct "in the past" it worked.
But presently BS.Player in fact starts up a separate program "bspcodecdl.exe" (to be found in BS.Player installation folder).
So I consider it a request.
(And maybe its a bug? As long as BS.Players developers do read this thread!)
