It also seem that although the player "remembers" you had
Random on the next time you open it. It doesn't actually plays in random. Maybe this only affects play lists.
Summary:
Make a play list.
Select
random on the main player.
Save list.
Exit player.
Open Lists, it will automatically open the player (its
random mode is now on by default)
List plays, but it's not playing randomly.
Cycle through the modes again to
Random.
Now list plays randomly.
