Unfortunately you fail to mention which plugins you tried.
Did you try with a media-file loaded?
Are they Winamp2 DSP plugins?

You e.g. could try Enhancer, LoudMax, dsp_compWide, dsp_xsound.dll and there are more.

Did you already try using BS.Player's own built-in equalizer?
