That - contrary to what you probably were thinking - certainly isn't something positive! What filters/codecs does BS.Player use for playback? (rightclick >) Options > Filters > Advanced (clicking on the [+]-signs reveals further info and access). .mkv is a container and doesn't tell very much about codecs/filters needed for playback. Did you obtain any info using GSpot or MediaInfo? (Did you read item (3) of my Help2Help-post?) Did you already try a different rendering(overlay) mode? (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering] (And while you're there, maybe also try "Wait for vertical blank")
