Default video tearing-playback flaws on plasma screen...

hi everybody,

sorry for my english which is not perfect.

my desktop pc has connection to panasonic plasma screen via hdmi. bsplayer free version 2.57 with default EVR video rendering video playback having horizontal tearing line on upper section of video which is quite disturbing, nearly impossible to watch.so i did a lot of search through your forum and internet.now i switch to the internal video DirectDraw which gave me much better result.but now similar problem happening at the bottom of screen during video playback specially during fast scenes (with nearly all type of hd and sd video formats)

my current system-recently built- about 1 month ago
-asus mobo p8-p67
-intel 3.3 ghz sandy bridge with 8 gig ram
-win 7 ultimate 64 bit
-amd hd 6850 with latest driver 1.16 which is relesed today actually

i did not have these problems with my previous desktop pc set up was running win xp 32 bit-ati hd3850-intel core2duo.

any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Default Video playback issues on plasma screen

hi again,

in order to give more detail to my previous message.
i am using latest k-lite codec pack with bsplayer.
i ve checked with other players to see if same problem exist.

yes - same with VLC player,Windows Media Player so i think they too using similar rendering machines.

no - with trial version of SplashPro,KMplayer and new Daum POTPlayer, probably all three using different methods for rendering.

but i have been very happy with BSPplayer all those years and i dont want to give up quickly.because no audio sync problems, subtitles works perfectly and user interface just fine for me.

i also wonder if any chance to use 3rd party video rendering tools such as Madvr.

I would try instead internal renderer, overlay (default)

thanks adicoto,

you are right, internal renderer overlay works best for my setup.
