What's your mpeg decoder? Is there a conflict? Please check with Sherlock.

The only solution I see is try different combinations of MPEG splitters and decoders. I personally found Elecard MPEG Demultiplexer 2.0.84.30429 to be most stable with the exception that it can't do DTS audio and MPEG-1.

3. Type regsvr32.exe C:\mpeg2dmx.ax and press OK

To uninstall a filter:

2. Click on "Run..."
3. Type regsvr32.exe /u C:\mpeg2dmx.ax and press OK

You were shown the way how most DirectShow modules can be added or removed from the system. You were expected to remove mpegsplitter.ax and try another filter in its place. It is still up to you to experiment with different filters, as it is not possible to do that by remote.

What MPEG-2 decoder do you have? It is the modules that come after the splitter.

What can I say... It's not that BSPlayer alone plays the video files. BSPlayer or Media Player is just a small part of the deal. Many programs install their own modules to DirectShow and some of them can't live together.

Try different demultiplexers & decoders to find a combination that doesn't crash. I can't do that for you without access to the machine in question.

The currently loaded modules can be seen in Right Click -> Options -> Filters -> Advanced.

If you fail then I guess reinstall mpegsplitter.ax and don't use BSPlayer for the type of files that trigger the crash.

Also try different players. If other players work ok, then BSPlayer has a bug. If a problem occurs in all players, then it could be a codec problem.
