Red face Wan't to unassociate music files with BS Player

I also can't entirely uninstall this program. I tried uninstall and then reinstalling so I could select how I wanted the files and such but absolutely no luck.

Probably it's related to your operating system, not to BSPlayer. Which SO are you running ?
Did you try to uncheck audio extensions from options-> preferences -> file types ?

(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General > [File types]
Click "Select..." > Select audio types
Now the list of "Associated extentions" for audio will be shown.
Now deselect (uncheck) all checkboxes for those audiofiles which you don't want to be handled by BS.Player.
Click (Close).
That ought to do the trick.

If not: like adicoto already mentioned: then your problem is probably related to (unsufficient user rights under) your OS (Vista / XP / Win7?).

When posting always mention your computer's OS and the version and build number(!) of BS.Player as used by you,
as well as - if applicable and especially when encountering problems - the type(s) of the file(s) mentioned in your post.
