Feature request: any plans for gapless playback?
Hi,
Very happy with my BSplayer for Android (paid version). Using it mostly for playing videos from my Synology NAS, currently. Also plays (most of) my FLAC-files well on my Nexus7.
Question: are there any plans to include gapless playback for audio in the not too far future? Foobar 2000 (on the pc) does this quite well, also with FLAC-files from the NAS over wifi.
Don't know how easy would be for Android. I am playing dance mix albums. As a workaround, I now rip my mix albums twice: once as separate tracks (for Foobar), once as a single file (BSplayer and other non-gapless players), but it is not ideal, because you miss track info etc. when playing the single file-version.
Gapless playback would also be nice for playing my synth albums (Jarre, Vangelis) and e.g. Pink Floyd albums more as intended.
Interesting discussion under this article, btw: Google Play Music adds gapless playback, automatic Instant Mixes
Thanks!
