Default Feature Request: Thruview Playback

It would be sweet if bsplayer offered some sort of thruview playback, similar to ATI's which allow the video to be viewed while still being able to see what is behind it.

Very cool.

Do you run vista?
Already found the option to set "Video window alpha value"
under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Skins?

(introduced with version 2.16)

Then it'll probably only work for main window (=control panel).
Try it (Main window alpha value). That's what you also wish for video window yes?

I think this feature (transparency or alpha blending) should probably be kept on the "wishlist" for WinXP.

Is it really running under Vista ? I can't test it for now, as I've uninstalled Vista for now. Under XP, the result it's like that:

If it's working under Vista I don't know either, but it was reported as accomplished in v.2.16.549 by Tizio. Anyhow, given the result under XP (similar as shown by your picture it does indeed work for main window but not really for video window) I suggested to keep it on the "wishlist" for WinXP!

What I mean is something like this.

Keep in mind, this is a photoshopped representation of what I would like.
