Chapters problem with latest versions I'm using the latest 0.86 buil 493 version... I'm using a chapter file : MyMovie.chf (and a MyMovie.bsi to configure) It is read : i can see, in the "Chapter" menu, the chapter's names i wrote. But it refuses to skip to any chapter ! (and i can't see the litlle check in front of the current chapter in the "Chapter" menu's section). It doesn't want to show me the MyMovie.cbf's pictures more than an half second... (it doesn't pause the film automaticly...) then I pause it myself and clic on a chapter's picture. It doesn't skip anywhere and it playback... like the "Chapter" from the menu... I have this problem since the 0.85 (at least) I'm using Winshit 98 and I already have DirectX 8.1... If you could see... thanks. PS : I beg you to NOT answer me the stupid words I already heard "aeuuh.. it works on mine"... thanks ! |

Do your "meta data" files refer to an avi or ogm file? Drop .chf file. Put chapter info into .bsi instead. My suppose that you're dealing with ogm. Therefor chapter start time definitions have to be exactly the same in bsi and internal ogm chapter info. You don't have to pause movie - and it usually doesn't stop itself then - when launching chapter viewer. 0.86.493 is not latest version: check nightly builds under downloads if you like.

I'm sure it's an AVI (divx 5.0).. I've ripped it myself ;) I've place the [Chapters] section in MyMovie.bsi instead of .chf... It seems to work !! but the .cbf doesn't stay on the screen, I still have to pause the film to see my chapter's pictures... too bad :| thanks to you anyway ! Giboo |
