Bsplayer PRO v2.52.1030 BUGs 2) there is no "Hebrew" script on the Ariel font so I can't see srt subtitles in my language. Last edited by shablul123; 4th April 2010 at 08:22 AM. |

Note that version 2.52.1030 isn't latest version. With me under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles [Subtitle properties] (and then under the button (Font) of [Primary subtitles] respectively [Secondary subtitles]) I can simply select Hebrew script for Font Ariel. If you don't have that possibility I think this is a Window's issue. Don't you have any other font where you can select Hebrew script?

I have the option to select "Hebrew" on other fonts (for example "Times New Roman", "Narkisiim" etc...) but on "Ariel" there is no Hebrew script to select. I like the Ariel font and I ALWAYS use it to see subtitles in my language. what should I do? |

Don't you have Arial's Hebrew script in Word either? Or in Window's Character Map utility for that matter? It simply was in my standard Windows installation I think. Or it came with Office or ... Anyhow, I didn't install it separately. It is an Opentype font - True Type outlines (Monotype Corp./Type Solutions Inc). Maybe google for it or e.g. install MS Word trial version?

Does it make a difference whether you use new or 'old' subtitle engine? (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles [Subtitle properties] "[v] Use new subtitle parser/renderer" (P.S.: What is your OS?)

without the new subtitle renderer I see the subtitle in gibberish.. OS is Windows 7 64bit Retail but I don't want to use the new renderer because it has some bugs and I like the old. |
