Blackage is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Files stopped working.

I've been using BSplayer for about 3 months or so, and it worked fine, I mean it was downright magic how well it played all my Divx files, but for some reason I came home and I found it uninstalled on my computer(I have no idea why). Anyway, I reinstalled the newest version offered on this site, and none of my files work anymore.

The files start, I hear the audio, but then it has the Windows error:

Bplay

Bplay has caused an error in DIVCDEC.AX.
Bplay will now close.

If you countinue to experienece problems,
try restarting your computer.

This is driving me nuts, because BSplayer was working perfectly fine before. I remember it disappeared off my harddrive after I uninstalled Kazaa, I looked at another thread in here and went to run and typed

regsvr32.exe -u mmswitch.ax

But that didn't work.

I'm not sure what kinda of video card I'm using. It's nothing too flashy though, it came with my comp. But again, I was using an older ver of BSplayer before and everything worked nicely.

I tried the "Force RGB mode" also. Didn't work

I unclicked the "Don't load Divx :-) settings" didn't work.

I also DID click the "use the Divx 4 decoder" didn't work.

What to do?!

This is a divx problem. Uninstall divx or the codec pack that has installed it and reinstall divx using last version, 5.1, or 5.05

PS If the Windosws have made a restore from an earlier restore point (this is why you don't find bsplayer anymore) then something is wrong with your computer. Memory settings or a bad hardware.

The newest version presently found on this site is build 501 ("nightly build"). It has no problem with the newest version of DivX5.1.
