Default Video brightness settings not remembered?

BSPlayer (0.86 build501) still doesn't remember video brightness settings... tell me I'm wrong?

Are you referring to build 501 of 16 Sep (or of an earlier date) [see Help to Help hereunder]?
Further, there are more possibilities which you could possibly mean when referring to these settings, please also see these posts.

Under the DivX settings, the Remember Settings option doesn't seem to work. I will download the latest 0.86 build 501 from the BSplayer site and see if the problem is I have an early build 501 (my BSplayer comes from the K-Lite++ codec pack, 204f).

Thanks for the other post links, too :)

Well, i never used them. Why not use for optimal settings the overlay color control, what come with your GFX driver? On both nVidia and ATI cards it worked for me - well, except that Catalyst 3.4 and bellow don't remember my settings for all overlays, only for YUV420, so YUV422 are too dark...
...luckily i don't using ATI crap anymore, so...
But into 3.5 or 3.6 its fixed, IIRC
