Default avi file.. i get sound but no vidio ..

when i play a avi file i get good sound but no picher i think there has to be a way to get both eny help will be cool ( i not giving up on this player )

Maybe you don't have the video codec required by that movie. You can find out wich codec you need with VirualDubMod.

There are more dedicated applications to establish which codecs you need and to know whether you've got them.
Look under the 2nd item in Help to Help (link hereunder)

I have the same problem! And it's not a codec problem! :P
The sound plays fine, but it doesn't even appear the video window! :(
But it plays fine with MediaPlayer or BSPlayer0.86... :roll:
Maybe it's because I installed v1.00 on the same directory as the old v0.86... :?

I think you may quite well hit the nail on the head there!
I would at least suggest to always install in different locations to avoid any possible conflicts.
