[BS1.00.803]Error while playing videos When one video ends I'll click on another in the folder to play. I know that the error came when the screen remains black when it says "play" and on closing the player, the error window appears. Heres the error(not sure if all are the same) Code: BSPlayer v1.00.803, Unhandled exception at EIP: 77F57D85 If you click 'Close' application will be terminated. Also I have always the same type of error. Now I have the error reading normal AVI DIVX avery time the video ends. Only to the end. Every time. My system is not usntable after the error ad I can open a new avi whithout problem. When the second avi ends, same error. |
| |||
Sorry, but no solution was found AFAIK for that problem (due to the lack of reports too). Can you tell wich filters are used when playing the files that give this error ? (rightclick->options->filters)

Does this happen with every movie file type or only with WMV files? Have you installed Morgan Stream Switcher? Do you use Norton Antivirus? There are several error reports regarding ntdll.dll on several different discussion boards.. Maybe it could be related to a codec issue, so if you reply to adicoto's question probably we can go near to a solution, but nothing is assured

The optsion in men? are: Direct sound moonlight odio dekoda divx decoder filter THe problem is on some types of avi files. Uhm.... I have resolved the problem. I had moonlight odio dekoda versione 1.00 old of 2001 . I have found 1.25m and installed it is now ok. Than for support :-))) I know that in bs player ALL problems origins from decode. A last question: someone know what "moonlight odio dekoda" do. If I uninstall if some type of file could not be read anymore from standard players? |
| |||
I use it myself but ver 1.23. Moonlight Odio Dekoda is an alternate MPEG audio decoder that can suport MPEG1, MPEG2, LPCM and AC3 decoding. If you uninstall it MEPG1 and 2 files will be handled by the built-in decoder of windows. For the other, either you allready have a filter and BSPlayer will use it either someday you'll need to install one. |

I have another strange problem... Opening mpeg files .mpg bsplayer say "Can't open file". I have also tryed to rename .mpg to .avi. The same error is on old bsplayer version 1.0 |
| ||||
Renaming will not help as this is a different kind of video. You probably need an mpeg decoder. Check out adicoto's list of codecs (click here) (there are three mentioned inthere)

@ BSPeter I know my answer is a litle bit late (I came here using search :D), but there were old BSPlayer's builds that failed to open a video file just by changing the extension. |

Rest assured I do not consider build 0.86.501 to be ancient (otherwise I would be totally obsolete myself); it must have been a much much more older build than that which you were referring to!! (Or alternatively the build had a bug.) I was just trying to say, that as long as I can remember, I've never encountered a version which was critical with respect to the videofile's extention. (But - of course - it has never been on the top of my list to test BSPlayer-versions on that feature; it is just one of those things which you run into accidentally (and then remember).) What's more: the life expectancy of software is a wee bit shorter ( :lol: understatement!!) than that of the average human. So, to the contrary: I would probably consider you to be quite young! No, I was reffering to an more ancient than 086.501 (wich is one of the best builds ever). Some like pre 0.8, (just made me think to look for one of my oldest CD that have BSPlayer on it). I am a BSPlayer's fan for a log time now :D And about old-man, I did put a smile with my sentence, to be sure I am just kidding. |
