I think that would be a Windows issue. For, when you double-click on a file, Windows must first find out in its settings what program to use to open the file and after that indeed open it. What happens if you right-click > Open with > BSPlayer ?

Ok I think I figured something out. It takes 10 seconds for me to open up a WMV file by double clicking if BSplayer is already open or not, but for other files like avi or mpeg it take me 1 or 2 seconds if BSplayer is open and 4 seconds if BSplayer is not open. I tried right clicking the WMV file and Open File With BSplayer and still takes a long time. The thing is a have a lot of WMV files so I didnt notice until I opened up some other files I had and it opened up a lot faster. Thanx for the help. Why would it take longer for the WMV files?
