jump forward and backward is buggy. thanks.

when you press the "," or "." key it's supposed to jump back and ahead of time, respectively. however bsplayer fails to do that and mixes them up at will.

Actually, I just tested this and it seems that if one switches from jumping forward to jumping backward (or the other way around) indeed only the first keypress for the opposite direction still results in a jump in the direction of the previous jump. This happens every time when one switches direction (so not really "at will"). Indeed a bug I would say (though it doesn't annoy me, as I personnally don't use this feature, but I can imagine such to be quite different for people who do use it).
