ZeroOne is an unknown quantity at this point
Default No autoplay

Hello
I am ZeroOne from the Netherlands.
I am for the first time here on the forum.

I like BSPlayer very much, its a great product.

I have a question when i Check the check box autoplay, and i'm
inserting a divX / XVid in my CDRom ,it does not autoplay
the BSPlayer, how can i autoplay get to work?.
When i insert a movie the dialog with media player(10) comes up, without the BSPlayer so i can't choose Play always with BSPlayer.

What i'am doing wrong?

Specs: Winxp Corp Sp1a

Thanks for the reply in advanced

Greetz ZeroOne

BSPeter is on a distinguished road
Default

"autoplay" in this context doesn't mean that BSPlayer will automatically start up if you insert a CD in your CD-player.
It means that a movie file starts playing automatically immediately when loaded in BSPlayer (without having to press [>] play button).
In order to "silence" Windows media player to the effect that it does not automatically startup if Windows has seen a media file (I think only XP does that), you should remove the file association with WMP and let BSPlayer grab it (apparently the type of file you're talking about is presently "associated" with WMP; in WMP look under "Tools" > "Options" > "File Types"; in BSplayer look under (rightclick) > Options > Preferences > General > File types ("Associated extensions" (or in Dutch: Opties > Voorkeurinstellingen > Algemeen > Bestandtypes ("Verbonden extensies"))
