Did you ever occured that you are the only one with that problem ? If it were a bug, thousands of post regarding this will float all aroud this forum. Do you see one in here ? Me neither. So, let's start considering that it's just your problem. So, what graphic card do you have, wich rendering method do you use, wich DirectX version do you have installed and wich filter you use to decode the file you talk about ?

So, I understand that the subtitle from the current line stays on screen as long as there is no newer line to display, isn't it ? Do you have the option "draw subtitle to overlay surface" activated ? ( Options - > preferencies - > subtitles - >draw subtitle to overlay) Rendering method can be found under options -> preferencies -> video - >video rendering. |

I have installed, I use and maintain some 100 PCs. None of them have this problem, so I don't think this could be called bug. It's neither this option's fault. Something it's not working in your rendering method and there is the bug from. We just need to figure out where. Could you please try to change rendering option to vmr for example ? It won't harm your computer.
