BS Pro 5-channel sound. How? And what would happen if I just copy the whole dll-files (I suppose these are the codec files?) from the media player directory to the BS directory? Is it gonna crash? |
| |||
No, it won't crash, but it won't use them either. The problem seems to be in downmixing to 2 channels, who results in lowering the voice level (substracting two channles one from another make the common sound to dissapear - and the voice it's usually the same on all the streams). Wich audio decoder it's used ?

I don't know. What should I search on the PC to be able to tell you which is the audio decoder? If it can help - this is BS Pro 2.14.942. edit: this is what I found about the audio: http://img478.imageshack.us/img478/6...board01ky7.jpg |

Don't know about ffdshow, but with AC3filter it is no problem to output 5 channel sound to two (stereo) speakers only. For AC3-filter: See item (4) of my Help2Help-post.
