 Problems with Captures with Vista I am sorry if this topic should not be here but I am not english-speaking! :oops: So my problem is: I use BsPlayer a lot because I am running a fansite and need to do lot of screencaptures. But I just changed my computer and am now using Windows Vista. So, I installed the last version...When I try to do captures just after the installation (first use)...everything works fine....but when I move all captured frames pictures and run BsPlayer to do more captures, it's not working anymore. So, I have to uninstall BSplayer and reinstall each time I have to do captures. Does anyone know what's going on? And if It can be fixed. There was no problems with XP. Thank you very much!!!!  |

Instead of uninstalling and installing BSplayer all the times, try to delete BSplayer settings file (C:\ Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\BSplayer\BSplayer.xml) Plus, during the installation process, do you choose to install the file settings in BSplayer installation folder or in user data directory?

Thank you very much for your answer! During the installation, I choose to install the file settings in BSplayer installation folder!!! Do I need to install it in user data directory? Thanks |

Seems like a better choice to me (certainly under Vista).

Yes, under Vista you need to install those settings files in the user profile folder due to new restrictions in writing to program files directory introduced in Vista
