Default Faded colors in videos?

I have a new system, and upon playing some videos in BSplayer 2.10 I noticed that the colors were faded, as if there was no video acceleration. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the codecs, going through all the rendering modes and changing my NVIDIA driver from the latest one to an older one, but no change, except that there was a slight color change with Internal renderer RGB mode, but it didn't bring it to normal. I have also noticed that Windows Media Player has the same problem with faded colors, and also that bringing the video acceleration in Windows Media Player from full down to none didn't bring down the image quality as it should have, but stayed the same. Any help is highly appreciated.

Default BS.Player HD video player

Did you try to use BS.Players internal color controls in Video>Color controls?
