Default Suggestions - fades and subtitle servers

Hi,

either i didn't find the feature in the software or it hasn't been added yet. There are two things that cruelly miss in bsp:
  • First thing, opensubs.org has been down for a few days now which disables a main feature! Downloading subs automatically was so practical but as it is limited to only one server it is very fragile...
  • Second thing, i like listening to the sort of music that is divided in several cuts but that has to be fluent during the transitions. An example of this is Vangelis's music. My computer, when it starts reading the next file it needs some time to open it so there is a little half-a-second break in the music and it isn't supposed to be there... Under WMP i avoided the problem by turning on the fade transition and putting it to 0: the media player would prepare the transition and everything would be fluent. I can't do that with BSP!

Thanks for reading me, I really like BSP, so I just wanted to suggest some things that are missing...

1. As far as I know, the intention is to add more subtitles sites.
2. BSPlayer supports Winamp plugins, so, if you know a good fader....just install it and add it in "winamp plugin" menu.

You don't need to have WinAmp to be able to use WinAmp2 DSP plugins in BS.Player.

I'm really sorry i don't get it.

I tried to download the plugin and install it, it says 'No Winamp instances found'.
What am i supposed to do?
How do i install it inside BSP?

I havn't got WinAmp installed either. Maybe you could try to mislead the plugin's installation like this user did for another plugin:

Here's how to get DEE2 installed without Winamp.

1. Create a folder, like C:\Program Files\Winamp

2 .In this folder, create a file called "Winamp.exe". Doesn't matter what's in it.
Let us know if you succeeded.

P.S.: How to use WinAmp2 plugins in BSPlayer?

Version 253.1034 running under XP SP3.
No problem using Enhancer plugin (I installed that plugin as 'standard').

It still doesn't work ^^'

There is something weird now: the first time i executed the installer it said 'wait till winamp is detected' and there was a grayed 'next' button. Now, it only says "0 winamp instances found" and then it displays the plugin interface.

I still can't use it though.

Sorry, I can't test it, like I've mentioned in the earlyer post. UAC disabled, 7 32bit, plugin support can't be activated (when you close BSPlayer, it's get deactivated).

LE: also tested an earlyer free version (like september 2009) same thing.

Well it seems like a lot of trouble with these plugins.
Can't you add the feature in the software itself?
