Normalizing audio across multiple avi's

As per the subject :) The reason for this being that I will often put on a heap of movies late at night and I usually set the overall volume fairly low so as to not disturb the neighbours. However, when the next movie loads it may be a heck of a lot louder in overall dB's and if I'm not quick to jump onto the volume control then... :)

Somehow it would be nice to have bsplayer 'normalize' to a certain dB setting, or even possibly remember volume settings for each movie?

Ah well, other than that, bsplayer rocks. I haven't found anything I like as much except for Media Player Classic (and I only use that for Quicktime and Realplayer stuff) :)

You can achieve it with this DSP Plugin, it works great with BSPlayer:

'Compressor & Wider 1.1 for Winamp' works fine with BSPlayer, I use it all the time. It works with any kind of audio source (MP3, AC3, OGG Vorbis, etc.) and with BSPlayer Build 498 or higher it also works with Movies with multiple audio streams.
