MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio streams selection Container: CDXA << MPEG-1 System Stream << {1 vid, 1 aud } video codec type: MPEG1_Payload name: MPEG-1 audio codec codec: MPEG-1 Layer 2 Info: 0xc0:44100Hz CBR 224 kb/s total (2 chnls) It also says that it is an VCD file. On those two audio channels the file have two different languages. Unfortunately BSplayer shows only (audio -> audio streams): Stream(C0) By default it plays both channels, the only way to change this is to go to filters and in MPEG Audio Decoder which is identified as: MPEG Audio Decoder Location: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ quartz.dll, Size: 1250304 bytes, Version 6.5.1.902 CompanyName: Microsoft Corporation FileDescription: DirectShow Runtime. FileVersion: 6.05.01.0902 InternalName: Quartz.dll LegalCopyright: Copyright (C) 1992-2001 Microsoft Corp. LegalTradeMarks: Copyright (C) 1992-2001 Microsoft Corp. OriginalFilename: Quartz.dll ProductName: DirectShow ProductVersion: 6.05.01.0902 Comments: 6.05.01.0902 change options from "channel - both" to "channel - first" or "channel - second" (note: this is translation from polish so it may differ from original) It would be so cool if there were an option to choose channels as in ogg files. (for example: audio -> audio streams -> Stream(C0) -> first, second, both) ^_^ |

audio MPEG 1 decoder *sound quality: bla bla bla not important *channel: - first - second - both *sound channels: - stereo - mono *informations *set as default (all translated from polish) so, it's not "channels left, right" but "one, two", also there is an option to choose stereo or mono. The conclusion is: this is normal for VCD movies to have one stream and two channels with different audio. Or am I wrong? (don't know much about VCD movies) Quote:

Also, when I use - "both" - I hear in left speaker one language, in right other language - "one" or "two" - one language goes to b o t h speakers, I don't know if "stereo/mono" option works, cause this movie don't have many situations where you could hear a difference :/ |
