Always hide mouse pointer in fullscreen?

I still sometimes have problems that the mouse pointer doesn't want to disappear (hide) in fullscreen mode. It seems related to the fact that whenever the pointer is in the same area as where the BSPlayer-main-window was previously located, it doesn't disappear. Also sometimes when the mouse isn't stabely located on the table (I guess), during movie play on my tv, the pointer sometimes appears again (and most of the time also disappears again, but not always).

Anyway this brought me to a new feature that would really be nice for BSplayer: "Never show mouse pointer in fullscreen mode". It probably doesn't need anymore explaining I guess but it would really help to fix this issue. Could you guys please consider implementing it for the next release? Tnx!

Hey I have a similar problem. One workaround that I have found is that after starting your movie in full screen just slide your mouse all the way to the left or right of the screen , that way you cannot see it and also it won't accidentally make the OSD pop up. Anyway thats what I do for now and it works....

or they can make the mouse pointer transparent if possible, if not then disregard

It'd be nice if there's an option like in *shudder* WMP's tweak plugin to *shudder* to change how long before the mouse cursor disappears in full screen mode. I'm having the problem too, cause if I bump my keyboard tray, the cursor just pops up and stays there for a good couple of seconds.

this mouse hiding feature would be a really good idea, or at least change the sensitivity of the mouse before it appears on the screen.

for example the mouse should move, let's say, at least 10 pixels in any direction before it is shown on the screen.

I have the same issue with the mouse pointer appearing on the screen when there are really loud places in the movie :)

aaand, because there's that fullscreen player that shows up when mousecursor is in the bottom of the screen, make the mouse cursor only visible when it reaches the bottom of the screen.


I'd really like bsplayer more if you'd implement it!

Anyway, new suggestions:


I almost always accidentally touch the mouse while in fullscreen(mainly because I like putting my legs on the table while watching a movie :D).




Make it so that the mouse cursor dissapears after one second of idle, and reapear after 2 seconds of movement.
Or, as a friendly user mentioned above, the cursor shouldn't appear unless it moves for atleast 10-20-30 pixels.

Ico-man, not the beta, but v2.61 build 1065.

Judging by your comment, my guess is I(we, the users) need to show some love to you guys for being the best(by far, and I'm not just saying it!) player available for so long.
