There are many DVB receivers with write options (on inner HDD), and I think it will wery usefull option for a lot of peoples.

The .ts fies can be played by VLC ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ ) without any problem.
But I prefer BSPlayer, and I hope it will support this format directly. Moreover it is not necessary additional codecs - it is MPEG-2 + one or more audio streams + some other..

Do you plan to includ support for .ts?

So BSPlayer already supports "*.ts". (BSPlayer requires codec/filters to play video/audio.) With respect to .ts-extension: you can simply add this under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General > File types.
