Default BSPlayer installed without MOV format support on Windows 7

Hi

Couple of month ago I installed BSPlayer 2.52 on my home PC with Windows XP because I learned that it supported the MOV files.

Now I got new work notebook with Windows 7 and I naturally installed the BSPlayer there too. But I was very disappointed, because the newer version does not play the MOV files. It does not recognize them as playable at BSplayer and when I select the MOV file manually, I got an error about missing codec and question whether I wish BSplayer to find one. When I try I get response (almost instantly) that the codec cannot be found.

When I check the Options/Preferences/File Types, the MOV extension is not amongst the file types there.

It seems that all other codecs were installed correctly. Only other thing which is different against the XP install is the warning message about the overlay.

I tried that on 2 notebooks, one with 32bit Windows 7 Professional and other one with 64bit Windows 7 Home and results were exactly the same.

Any ideas how to get MOV files play on Windows 7?

Thank you very much.

Petr
