Did you meanwhile update BS.Player version/build?
Are you now using the more up-to-date language-file (or the adapted old one as included in the distribution)?

When posting always mention your computer's OS and the version and build number(!) of BS.Player as used by you,
as well as - if applicable and especially when encountering problems - the type(s) of the file(s) mentioned in your post.

And what encoding did eventually solve it? I suppose either ANSI or UTF-8 (with "Byte Order Mark") as suggested by me?

it was indeed UTF-8, the tricky and minor detail was changing the extension back to .lang , because after editing the lagauge file with notepad, even when I chose 'save as all files', it kept the file it in a .txt form.

i dont understand, however the meaning of (with "Byte Order Mark")

Default I was able to solve this problem

After trying everything in this thread, the last thing I tried that seemed to work was surprisingly just changing the font from Ariel to a different hebrew-supporting font (Calibri, David, Guttman etc.) and of course having the script option on Hebrew.
Hope it helps anyone :)
