Default "closed playlist"

in the past, i have created bs.player playlists, that work fine for awhile, then for some unapparent reason to me, when i try to open any playlist, to play it, it is "closed," & will not open.

can anybody tell me what the problem might be, & how to fix it?

thx

Have you moved the files in another location ?
Have you installed another drive in your computer ?

I have the same problem. I have v2.63 and a brand new playlist. BSplayer writes me: "closed"

Files are in their place and I have not installed any drivers.

What can I do to play playlist?

Is the playlist itself still at the same location (folder) as in which it was created?
How did you create (save) it? From within "new" or "old style" playlist?
(New style has the options "Save to file .. text format/internal format"
Old style has two more options "Save to file (relative paths) .. text format/internal format".)
If BS.Player indicates "closed" it may be caused by the fact that the playlist itself was moved from the location in which it was created to another location (folder), from which new location it cannot "see" the files in question.
Maybe open playlist in notepad (or similar) to see what information it holds.

No that's not all. E.g.: what do you see when opening .bsl file in notepad or any plain text viewer/editor?
