rotate avi-file

I'm looking for a program to rotate an avi-file.
I've recorded a movie with my digital camera (Canon digital ixus 400), but I have to turn my head 90Â° to watch the movie properly. Is there someone who knows a program to rotate the avie-file 90Â°?

There's a small but handy program capturing and editing different video formats including avi. It's called Virtual Dub, http://www.virtualdub.org/index. One of the built-in filters includes the ablity to rotate movies 90 degrees left or right, or 180 degrees.

Try VLC or iMovie. They can rotate AVI files.

If you are still in trouble with VLC or iMovie, use Cicever AVI Rotator. It can help horizontally rotate AVI files from left to right and vertically rotate AVI videos between upside down. It is also able to rotate AVI files 90 degrees, 180 degrees or 270 degrees easily preserving the same video formats.

There are numerous simple online applications to help rotate or flip videos with a few clicks, such as rotatemyvideo.net, rotatevideo.org.
You can also rotate video with Windows Movie Maker.
Besides, you can rotate video with free HD video converter.
