rotate avi-file

I'm looking for a program to rotate an avi-file.
I've recorded a movie with my digital camera (Canon digital ixus 400), but I have to turn my head 90° to watch the movie properly. Is there someone who knows a program to rotate the avie-file 90°?

There's a small but handy program capturing and editing different video formats including avi. It's called Virtual Dub, http://www.virtualdub.org/index. One of the built-in filters includes the ablity to rotate movies 90 degrees left or right, or 180 degrees.
