SMB 3.0 cifs LAN failed to connect: 0.0.0.0<00> I am using BS player pro for almost 6 years now. But recently I updated my FreeNAS home server and it uses samba version 3.0. And from that time I am not able to connect to my NAS using credentials. I have most up to date BS player running on Honor 10. NAS is freenas FreeNAS-11.1-U6 I am able to connect to the NAS using my credential from my Linux machine. However not from my phone. All under the same home network. When I set a server connection I have error message "failed to connect: 0.0.0.0<00>/1.2.3.100" Can you help me, how to set up BS player to connect with SMB version 3.0? |

No BSPlayer supports SMB 3.0. New player will.

Possible fix
I had a similar problem with BSPlayer Pro legacy when I upgraded my samba server to Ubuntu 20.04. The fix I found was that I entered these lines in my smb.conf: min protocol = NT1 max protocol = SMB2 in the global section. Now BSPlayer legacy can connect again to my samba shares. |
