Yes BSPeter, I waited 2 month to get an upgrade of 803, hoping to get the best player for my OGM files. I tried the 803 beta, and decided to stay with build 501... So I have installed Bsplayer 1.00.805. I see that with version 805, the *.BSI files are back. I can seen my movies, clicking on my old bsi files pointing at AVI files and SRT subtitles. Those subtitles associated the a language attribute listed in those BSI files are integrated in the bsplayer menus. So that external subtitles can be selectet and displayed even if they are in a subdirectory, good. I discovered also that without a BSI file, if the subtitles are located in the same directory as the AVI file and that the file names of subtitles begin with the same title like "Jurassic Park 3 [NL].srt", the subtitle filenames appear in the Bsplayer menu, and can be selected and displayed too, good too! But a first problem is with OGM, my personal home-made OGM movies: no problem with audio and chapters, but no way to display internal subtitles. It is only possible to manually load and display my external *.srt subtitles. My configuration: Bsplayer 1.0.805, 3xvid 4.5 or Divx5.1.1, SubDS1400, OggDS0.9.9.5 Processor P4-2666 on i865, Geforce4, Windows 2000. Second problem (common to 803 and 805): with OGGDS0996 from the KLcodec pack 2.20Full, the second and third audio tracks are badly distorded. Coming back to OGGDS0995 from tobias, it sounds good for all audio tracks. I don't know why and who wrote Oggds version 0996. Have you solved this elsewhere? |
