Questions and problems of new version (1.00.851) First of all DivX options are no more selectable in the Preferences menu, not even when playing DivX files. Ac3 filter is no more available under filters, not even when playing ac3 file, and using "Options->Filters" (i use the sourceforge one, often listed on this forum too) Reproduction of some heavy res movies (in DivX coding) is heavier then in previous version of BS, and results in non smooth playing. Is this a known issue? I tried every rendering method available: RGB, every overlay, and neighter too. Always the same: BS sucks up to 65% of CPU (from XP's task manager), and reproduction sometimes even halts, loosing frames, while beeing generally not smooth. Am i alone in experiencing this? |

Thank you, but that doesn't answer my question, which was if it was a known issue of v 851. I have WinXP SP1 btw. Any idea about the other problems i'm seeing? In other threads i read that divx properties are greyed out when you're not playing divx files, but in my case they are always grayed out. Anyway the most annoying thing is the hogging and stuttering of heavy files... |

You are rather consequent in referring to v.851. Are you sure that you don't mean version 1.00 RC1 build 805? (Though the problem referred to in the linked thread concerned build 803, it hasn't changed for build 805.) Further: are you sure its DivX decoder you're using? Though it indeed cannot be accessed though Options > Preferences > Video, you should be able to reacht it (with movie loaded) through Options > Filters. If it appears you're perhaps using ffdshow; perhaps it's an older version? http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=53761
