Default What do I need to download to view subtitles?

What do I need to download to view subtitles? I have a *.sub file, but when I try to load it, nothing happens.

I forgot to mention that it's Build 806, 28 Feb 2003.

If your .sub-file is a text-based subtitle you don't need to download anything as BSPlayer can handle these itself.
