full screen capture: press "prt scr" button on your keyboard, open up graphics program, like paint shop pro or photoshop, choose edit, paste program window capture: press ALT+ "prt scr" at the same time, paste into graphics program. There are also some freeware products around which save the file instantly. |

Arkimaagi's tip is for 'regular' captures (desktop, programs... captures) if you want a screencap of the currently playing video, hit either P or shift+P (default keys for 'original size' and 'what you see' captures) it will create a bmp or jpg file (in bsplay.exe's directory by default) you may want to have a look at this post and/or change the settings in preferences-->general |

I am trying to capture a full size image of a video. I understand that I wil have to choose no overlay for "what you see" option to work. However, I noticed using no overlay caused a loss in quality during playback. Is this normal?
