Default Subtitels timeing

I have a movie that s subtitels are 20 sec too early. I wanted to time them. I wrote 20 sec in the manual timeing place but nothing happened. Plz explaine me how does the timeing works. :)

In BSPlayer ver. 810, press CTRL and LEFT (or RIGHT cursor) for subtitle's time correction.

I did that. It was wright timeing for a while but then it went wrong again.
