Subtitle Timing

Hey,

I am n00b at this but i had a question.
I have seinfeld series with subtitles but the problem is that the sub comes to early so i use shift+ <---- . But my question is it possible to put that some how in the .sub file so i dont need to correct it every time i watch it? Because BSplayer doesnt remember it.

Have you read BSPeter's post "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING"?
Check item (9) of that post (particularly the section after the underlined green sentence), or use search button to find other posts regarding subtitles (there are many interesting posts).

I personally use a software called Subtitle Translator, being also a translator. For example, open the subtitle in ST, go to edit, renumber subtitles and here you have the option to add\substract time or to change framerate. If you also open the video file and play it in ST, you can see on-the-fly the modifications.
