divx 6 + bsplayer 1.22.817 = CRASH Any ideas? yes i installed 1.22.817, but then the error thing from microsoft mentions 1.2.1.816 ??? Bill |

I just opened a divx5.2 file by double clicking on it in my file explorer. A black frame is displayed, and then it simply crashes before any image of the file is displayed! I have also windows media player 10, and videolan player installed on my pc... |

Windows XP SP2. Just checked again, actually some divx files are ok, the problem is with divx files that are 5 or 10 frames per seconds and no sound. But they curiously played ok with the divx player that comes with the installation of the new divx codec. |

Maybe try new BSPlayer version 1.30 (build 818) (20 Jun 2005); just released! Info at news-page: "some changes to be more compatible with new DivX 6 Media Format, no direct support for menus and other features yet" (N.B.: DivX6: NOT for Win98 and WinMe-users!)
