wont play some dvds 1. build 939 non pro 2. video card 6800, cpu pent 4 not sure how to answer about the codecs, any suggestions on what to do thanks |

Yeah, you know why. BS player is the worst media player I have ever used. It won't play half of my avi files. I have to switch back to WM9 and and do all sorts of gyrations. They don't want you to know this but it won't play all these new divx, xvid, and most newer avi files being uploaded to the Net. I wish someone would be honest and either help those who have Bsplayer and want it to work correctly, assist them, or just redo the player and upgrade it for all these newer avi files. Rant over, psingman

@psingman: We have no such experience. To the contrary: BSPlayer plays whatever avi/divx we've tried. Probably a codec/filter question. However, YOUR problem is that you apparently cannot read properly or you do not bother to follow suggestions and/or you don't give answers to questions asked: http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=29500#29500 http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=29501#29501 http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=29778#29778 So don't tell nonsense in this forum simply out of frustration! :?
