wesmosis is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Keeping BS settings when moved to another PC or after format

I do alot of changes in the preferences window each time I install BS, and after a while I do format argh!
do I have to set all the preferences from the start, or suppose I'll move my BS to another Laptop or PC with the same settings and modification

it's frustrating

isn't these an ini file or somethin' saving my settings and preferences?
I modify all Key Definitions and Shortkey and you know how exahsting this thing is :(

Assuming you're running WinXP, you can find settings in
C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\BSPlayer\

Ok, it should do the trick.
There may be just one other file which isn't saved there, but still in BSPlayer's installation folder (I'm not sure). That concerns "bsplay.sav" which stores settings for individual movies played (if you've selected this option).

@Tizio: What do you think: shouldn't this file bsplay.sav also be saved in C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\BSPlayer\ ? Seems like an oversight to me. (Report in bugs section?)

Yes, it should be saved in UserProfile folder (or in a custom folder if the relative feature will be implemented in future BSP releases), same thing should be applied to bsplay.bkf (BSplayer bookmark file) as already reported in this topic

You're reviving a two year old thread. At that time version 2.11.940 was the most recent and version 2.12.941 was about to be released.
You, however, seem to be referring to version 1.20.815.
I think that one was of February 2005.
Whereas I still (also) have version 1.37.826 (of December 2005) installed, I would nevertheless suggest you to update (undless you have a very good reason not to do so).

If I remember correctly for version 1.37 (and earlier versions) all preferences were saved in BSPlayer's installation folder, so I think if you simply copy complete folder with all contents, it should also include all your preferences.
